Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections and a broad and bright rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet of fresh red fruits, cherry, ripe plum, sweet tobacco nuances and subtle liquorice. The juicy palate is elegant, with subtle fruit expression, silky tannins, very good acidity, mineral and persistent.

A note about our product information
As the archives state , FONT DU VENT Châteauneuf du Pape vineyards were planted with vines under Napoleon 1st. Numerous Roman pottery shards and amphorae found on the site of the domaine. Archeologists have studied the land and believe it was a Roman olive farm. According to local archives the Gonnet family have been in Bédarrides since 1600.
